What do you think?

The use of surveillance technology by the government raises many questions about the balance between the right to public safety and security and the right to privacy. In order to learn more, we conducted an informal poll to hear your thoughts. We also conducted a professional and representative online survey, through the Geocartography Knowledge Group. The (fascinating!) results are here.

Informal Poll

The scenario: the police are working on an crime-fighting app that every citizen will be asked to download. The app will send the location of your mobile phone to a police database every few minutes. Would you be willing to download the app?
